Sleeps6 in 3 Bedroom(s)
Property DescriptionThis delightful 18th century secluded stone-built cottage has been completely rebuilt inside the original walls to create a very well insulated and tastefully furnished holiday home equipped to a very high standard, without losing any of its cosy country character.
The large conservatory will be appreciated by those who enjoy the view but want to be inside, while an attractive light and bright attic area (accessed via a steep spiral staircase) can be used to sleep fit adults or older children who are keen to have their own space.
The garden decking looks out over the steep banking down to the river which in Spring is covered with daffodils, giving the property its name (‘lily’ is the old Scots name).
For those seeking peace and solitude this is the perfect place to escape — no other properties are in sight but it is not far distant from the coastal village of Tighnabruaich or the ferry at Portavadie which runs to Tarbert, Loch Fyne. This is a truly delightful undiscovered part of Scotland, so take the opportunity to have a relaxing break in a real quality property and discover for yourself the delights of this lovely area.
