Tucked peacefully in the coastal hills above Craobh Haven this delightful croft cottage (one of two cottages forming part of the original steading) is fully modernised to a high standard. It provides immaculate, very comfortable accommodation, ideal for those who like to ‘get away from it all’ but at the same time like to be within easy driving distance of pubs, shops and a host of holiday pursuits.

‘Mullach’ faces out from the central area of the courtyard and is not overlooked. For those with young children there is a pony to feed (under supervision). Visitors can enjoy fresh free range eggs which are available from the owners — and the luxury of fresh seafood available locally. Climb a short distance up the hill from the steading to experience a breathtaking panoramic view of the islands!

Recommended for a first trip to Scotland this area is within easy travelling distance from Glasgow and offers a good base for ferry trips to the islands or a fascinating boat trip out to the famous Corryvreckan whirlpool.

Accommodation

Ground floor: Spacious living room (incl. double bed settee for occasional use) with dining table, a fully fitted kitchen area, a double bedded room and a bathroom with toilet and electric power shower over bath. ‘Mullach’ has an additional twin bedded attic room accessed by steep stairs (low coombed ceilings and a ‘Velux’ roof window).

Heating: Electric convector heaters and off-peak electric storage heaters. Electricity included in rental May - September, otherwise £15 per week. Fully double glazed.

Linen: Duvets, duvet covers, bed linen, towels and teatowels included in rental. Electric blankets.

Access is by a rough unsurfaced uphill track (suitable for most saloon cars, with care).
