There is an excellent hotel within easy walking distance and a restaurant renowned for its seafood is less than a mile away. Visitors to the nearby Island of Lismore can hire bikes locally and cross to the island by the little passenger ferry for a very reasonable cost. Surely  one of the cheapest and easiest ways to experience a taste of island life.

This is one of the most scenic and well photographed areas of Scotland, with fabulous coastal views and seascapes all around (Castle Stalker is just up the road!). Those of you wishing to tour Scotland by car will find this is an excellent position to start from. Oban and Fort William are both within easy travelling distance by bus or car.
