Situated in a slightly elevated position by the shores of Loch Etive the views are quite stunning — imagine sitting up in bed in the morning and looking out at the fjord-like setting with mountain scenery reflected across the water. This peaceful little bay is well off the main road, but only a 25-minute walk from Taynuilt with its hotel, shops and a railway station.
The whole of the west coast is within easy travelling distance, including numerous ferries to the islands. Teenagers will enjoy the freedom of taking a train to Oban, where there are all modern facilities, while their parents can relax by the water or hire a boat from the owner and go fishing or exploring one of the most scenic sea lochs in Scotland. Cyclists have miles of quiet country roads to explore.
AccommodationAll on first floor: Living room with dining table and fitted kitchen area. One double bedded room with 6ft wide double bed (can be full-size twin beds). One twin bedroom. Bathroom with electric shower over bath. All rooms have a lovely cottage feel with coombe ceilings and fabulous views of the loch.
Heating: Instant electric convector heaters throughout. Electricity on £1 coin meter. Double glazed throughout and well insulated.
Linen: All bed linen, duvets and duvet covers included in rental.
