Property DescriptionYou are quite right — this is not a cottage, but it is a very appealing alternative! In a departure from our normal policy we have taken on this mobile holiday home because of its secluded location, fabulous view and the way it is set up with its own private garden area. Located on private land behind ‘Loch Etive View’ (AL57) this property has a lovely view of the loch as well as the stunning surrounding mountains.
Although compact, it has been carefully refurbished to provide everything for the comfort and well-being of holidaymakers. The garden area is very safe for children and for those who enjoy cooking there is a little herb garden on the doorstep. A well-equipped laundry room has been added at the rear, providing a covered drying area for wet wellies, boots and coats, etc.
This area is ideal for those visiting Scotland for the first time and is an excellent location for touring either by car, train or cycle. The islands are also accessible from Oban by ferry. Boats can be hired or bring your own and launch it nearby.
AccommodationAll on ground floor: Living room with open plan sitting / dining / kitchen area and that wonderful view of Loch Etive and the mountain range. Double bedded room. Twin bedded room (can be a double bed, by prior arrangement). Shower room with washbasin (shower has plug and seating ledge).Toilet and washbasin. Decking area runs the length of the property. Laundry / drying room.
Heating: Electric convector heaters. Gas fire in the lounge. All fuel included in rental May to September inclusive, otherwise £10 per week.
Linen: All bed linen, duvets and duvet covers included in rental. Towels and teatowels available at £6 per person, per week.
