Idyllically located overlooking a beautiful tidal area of the West Coast, this semi-detached stone-built traditional Highland cottage has been tastefully renovated and comfortably furnished to a high standard. Careful planning and clever design of the recent conversion has provided comfortable accommodation with access straight onto the shoreline, making this a most desirable holiday location.

This coastline and area is much sought after by those who appreciate its natural features, flora and fauna, including seals, sea eagles, ospreys and otters so make sure you bring a camera and binoculars! A short wallk to an elevated position will give you marvellous views to the islands of Jura and the Garvellachs (stunning sunsets!).

Just round the headland nearby is Crinan Basin, the western terminus of the Crinan Canal which features so much in scenic photographs. Many visitors to this area feel drawn to return year after year — if you enjoy excellent fresh seafood, sailing or just having a break from the stresses of city living you may find yourself joining them!

Accommodation

Ground floor: Open plan living room with stove, dining table, fully fitted kitchen area and stairs up to
first floor: Double bedded room. Twin-bedded room. Bathroom with toilet and a bath with hand-held shower attachment. Shower room with toilet and power shower. Studio room with light south-facing aspect.

Heating: Oil-fired central heating throughout, one electric convector heater and a multi-fuel stove. Cost of oil and electricity included in rental May–September inclusive, otherwise £25 per week. Starter pack provided for stove. Further fuel available in Lochgilphead. Well insulated and double glazed throughout.

Linen: Duvets, duvet covers, bed linen and teatowel included in rent.
Please bring personal towels. Hot water bottles.
