Property description for Rowan Lodge, Roshven NW05
Hidden away in a lovely peaceful setting of rowan trees and birch entwined with wild fragrant honeysuckle and rhododendrons, this little timber lodge is just a short walk to the shores of beautiful Loch Ailort.
A burn runs through the trees which nearly surround the lodge (no views) and down to the lochside with its numerous little hidden bays and pebble shorelines. The lodge itself is tastefully furnished and decorated, with a delightful mix of antique and modern furniture and a fully updated and well-equipped modern kitchen.
Holidaymakers will enjoy relaxing in this tranquil retreat, close to nature. This exquisite area of Moidart is known as the ‘Pearl of the West’ and with good reason — the constantly changing local views of islands, bays, inlets and the mountains are just superb and a paradise for lovers of animals, birds and plants, making it ideal for a honeymoon and great for couples throughout the year.
For a special treat enjoy a trip on the steam train across the Glenfinnan viaduct, as seen in the Harry Potter film.
