The bird and animal life in the surrounding wild woodlands is just fascinating. We watched tiny little siskins which seemed almost tame enough to hand feed — there are even reports of a woodpecker eating at the window feeder! Loch Garry is now an SSSI.

Fishermen, photographers, country walkers and those keen on climbing the numerous ‘Munros’ (mountains over 3,000 feet high) will find plenty to keep themselves occupied in this fabulously scenic area.

Very conveniently placed for touring the nearby Great Glen (Loch Ness), the Isle of Skye and the whole of the north of Scotland. For a special treat follow the single track road westwards along the glen and you eventually reach the west coast at the Knoydart peninsula, a remote area of Scotland served by very few roads.

All on ground floor: Living room with multi-fuel stove and dining table. One double bedded room. One twin bedded room. One single bedded room. Spacious fitted kitchen. Bathroom with toilet, shower over the bath. Washbasins in two bedrooms.

Heating: Electric convector heaters and off-peak electric storage heaters. All electricity by meter reading. One hod of coal and starter pack provided for multi-fuel stove. Double glazed throughout.
