Property description for Corrydon, Glenshee PE36
A spacious detached stone built cottage, with thick walls and an enclosed grassy garden, in a gloriously secluded location just 200yds off the road. You will feel as if you are miles from anywhere, yet here you can have milk, newspapers and groceries delivered on a daily basis! Perhaps you would like to watch salmon leaping locally or at Pitlochry or ‘The Hermitage’, Dunkeld. Not far away is a hide for watching magnificent ospreys.
Those of you who enjoy long distance walking will find the Cateran Trail and the well known Lairig Ghru routes easily accessible. Also within easy travelling distance are Glamis Castle, Braemar Castle and all the attractions of Royal Deeside (including the Highland Games). Perhaps sailing and canoeing for beginners at Glen Isla would be of interest or of course in winter there is ski-ing and snow boarding only a short drive away.
In the event of significant snowfall, vehicular access for the last 200 yards up to the property may be limited. Be prepared for a short walk!
