Fly Drive Holidays to Canada's West and National Parks

Calgary, famous for its yearly Stampede when all of the cowboys come to town, is the start of your journey south into the wilderness of Kananaskis and journeying on to UNESCO World Heritage Site of Waterton International Peace Park. Much less visited and quieter than other National Parks in Alberta this is a real gem of a Park to spend time exploring and appreciating the natural beauty that is abundant. If time permits visit neighbouring Glacier National Park that is over the border in Montana, USA.

The Crowsnest Highway is a must do journey in the Kootenay area as you travel up to Fairmont Hot Springs and then on the Banff National Park. Famed for its stunning scenery, amazing peaks. Banff really has it all, historic hotels, scenery, fine dining, and memories that will stay with you forever. Then north, just some 30 or so miles to Lake Louise where you marvel at the amazing and much photographed Lake. Very popular with tourists, so either stay here or why not travel just over the border to the much more serene Yoho National Park and Field. Use this as your base from that to visit and explore Yoho National Park, Morraine Lake and Lake Louise.

Spend a couple of nights in this popular city taking in the many sights before boarding your majestic cruise ship at Canada place for the journey to Alaksa. The cruise we suggest is with stylish, ultra luxury Regent Seven Seas cruises aboard their ship 'Navigator'. The ship accommodated just over 400 passengers, that is a real bonus and everything is includes, all meals, drink and shore excursions. Relax and enjoy the unsurpassed scenery as you travel along the Inside Passage of Canada before entering Alaskan waters, visiting ports such as Ketchikan,  Tracy Arm with its whales, Skagway with its Gold Rush history, Sitka, full of Russian history, Stunning Hubbard Glacier before docking at Seward, a transfer is included to Anchorage airport where you fly home.
